Last week, we read and listened to stories that were biographies. A biography is the story of someone’s life that is written by someone else. This week we will be reading stories that are autobiographies. An autobiography is a story that an author writes about him or her self.
As you listen to today’s read- • aloud, listen for the parts of an • autobiography: • the author shares her own life • story or experiences. • the author writes in the first- • person voice, referring to herself • as “I”.
Who is the author addressing in this text? How can you tell?
