Project Background • Klamath Community College intends to construct four new structures on a 50-acre parcel of land which is part of its main campus in Klamath Falls, Oregon. These structures comprise Phase One of a campus which will eventually become a comprehensive community college with all the functions and attributes of a community college providing both lower division transfer courses and technical education in a variety of endeavors. • The land is located at 7390 South 6th Street, Klamath Falls, Oregon, 97603, and is owned by the College. The site is partially developed, currently containing five single-story structures, new roads, new parking areas and a buried pipe spanning the entire site. The site is a large farm which has been producing grain crops; it is reasonably level, drainage appears to be good, and there are no site peculiarities other than the drainage pipe • See page Part II (pages 4-10) of RFP.
