Application process for Grant.Gov All applications must be endorsed and submitted through the university Find Grant Opportunity Download Package Faculty and AURRB Approval Fill up the Package Terminate submission Informs E-Business Point of Contact E-Business Point of Contact is an AIMST University representative Submission E-Business Point of Contact at your organization confirms applicant as an Authorized Organization Representative (AOR) Applicant Login- User name and password Complete Submission as AOR Not Authorized-Terminate submission

  3. 1. Go to this link: http://www.grants.gov/applicants/find_grant_opportunities.jsp : Click Advanced Search tab

  4. 2. Search the grants by keyword (For eligible, please select For profit organization) keyword related to your research For example; Genetics For profit organization

  5. 3. To find out for more information on individual grant click on the individual opportunity title link. (For example; click on Molecular genetics of drug addiction and related co-morbidities (R01): National Institutes of Health: PA-07-073)

  6. 4. Read the grant details and if you are interested to apply, click application tab

  7. 5. Download a package of the application for a grant

  8. 6. Click Download application package Download and save the application package in pdf file in your computer. you must have acrobat reader version 7-9 installed in your computer. Click here to verify if your Adobe software version is compatible with Grants.gov.

Submit the Completed Grant Application Package If you are not already connected to the Internet, you will be directed to do so and will need to login to Grants.gov using your username and password. Submitting a Grant Application with Adobe Reader: After you have entered all the necessary information, checked the package for errors and saved your package; click the "Save & Submit" button on the cover page, your application package will automatically be uploaded to Grants.gov. A confirmation screen will appear once the submission is complete. A Grants.gov tracking number will be provided at the bottom of this screen, as well as the official date and time of the submission. Record the tracking number so that you may refer to it should you need to contact us for support. If you're having problems completing the package, view our Frequently Asked Questions. • 10.
