The Role of Indigenous Software in National Economic Transformation Moving Forward: • Sincere Recognition of the potentials of the software sector for economic transformation • Facilitation of affordable capital to create and sustain enabling environment • Implementation of local content policy on quick-win, high-impact projects • Drivers’ License, Micro-Finance, Payroll, Pensions, Examinations, electronic-payment, etc. • It is NOT about protectionism but National Diginity • Creating home-grown wealth to lend to other nations • LOCAL CONTENT IN ICTDEVELOPMENT IN NIGERIA 2012
