In the last decade, digital marketing has given opportunities but by eliminating the odds and fighting the challenges. There is still some gap for the challenges that one can face in a given period, and challenges offer new opportunities. The year 2019 has faced some of the challenges that still exist in 2020. Here are some of the challenges that can be faced in the year 2020. 1. Generating traffic​ –generating traffic has always been a big challenge for the website. There are many ethical and unethical ways to divert traffic to your website, but to sustain for a long period then an ethical way of generating traffic will be advisable. For a new business, there is a challenging to attract traffic and for old businesses, the challenge will be to maintain the traffic. This is a challenge that businesses always face for a long period.

There will be a challenge to understand the mindset of the consumer and his purchasing pattern. When a business gets to know its target audience then it will be easy for the business to maintain the demand and supply cycle. 3. Creating customer-friendly content​ - the content on the internet is almost age-restricted and it will be the duty of the content creators to make friendly content. At the different levels of creating content sorting and filtering will be required to make customer-friendly content. 4. Social media​- social media is an opportunity but it is a challenge also, with the increasing number of users the challenge will be to find the target audience keeping in mind the social media norms. The social media norms are very strict and creating content within the limit is a big task. 5. Funding​- the funding Is a big challenge, with the increasing number of competitors in the market the funding process has become rigid. 6. Mobile optimization​- the increasing number of smartphone users has given so many opportunities but there is a challenge to optimize the website content according to mobile. Most of the contents are seen and used over the mobile phone and hence its optimization is necessary for the right way. 7. Following up on the trends​ – there are new trends every day and a new trend is a new opportunity. Trends allow companies to make a personal connection with the audience. At the different levels, the businesses have to follow trends to maintain the presence among the customers and sustain in the industry. There are many new challenges every day that a business faces and to sustain in the industry you have to keep dealing with them. 2019 has different challenges and when we look into 2020 there will be new challenges in the market that will give birth to new opportunities.
