Your task • Your boat has just sunk. There is only one place left on the life raft and your task (in your pair) is to write a persuasive speech to fight for your place. To be successful: You must use AFOREST Change your words so that you are persuasive Write in paragraphs Remember who you are writing it for-YOUR CLASS.
IN PAIRS, WRITE A PERSUASIVE SPEECH. The speech must include all the techniques and last for 1 minute. • The class will then vote whether you will be allowed on the life raft and be saved from the watery ocean. • You will work with your elbow partner and have 15 minutes to write the speech. • I will now bring the box of doom around for you to pick a card from. This is who you are trying to save.
