  2. Purpose of CTSO Travel CTSO travel provides students with the opportunity to compete in career development conferences as well as network with business professionals and other like-minded students.

  6. Transportation Chartered Bus Service Departure: Administration Building 8:00 am on 2/21 Park on the lot on the Austin Parkway side. Busses will make 1 stop at Buc-ee’s Return trip will depart hotel at 1:00 pm and will make 1 stop at Buc-ee’s Return:Administration Building Apx. 6:00 pm on 2/23

Advisor Responsibilities Conduct evening meetings with all students prior to lights-out Conduct room checks every evening – one male and one female advisor / chaperone will enter every room for evening check Provide parents with detailed itinerary and emergency contact information Adhere to and enforce all school district policies and procedures and communicate with district personnel

Chaperone Responsibilities • Monitor and supervise students as requested by advisors • Adhere to and uphold district policies and procedures • Chaperones may not make exceptions for their personal children • Communicate daily with advisors and report necessary information immediately • Attend evening meetings with students and advisors

Student Expectations Remain in hotel rooms from lights-out until morning release time Report all issues to the campus advisor Students may not get into taxi cabs, Uber, or other forms of transportation without an adult chaperone and the knowledge of the campus advisor Students are not permitted in weight rooms or swimming pools without chaperone supervision and campus advisor knowledge

Student Expectations Students are expected to remain with chaperones at all times when not in competition Fort Bend ISD curfew time will be 11 pm nightly In the event that a student needs to be sent home for medical, personal or disciplinary reasons, it will be at the expense of the parent / guardian.

Student Expectations Adhere to all district policies and procedures while on the trip Report as instructed for chaperone check-in, meetings, competition and other assigned activities Students will not enter hotel rooms of people from other districts Students may not enter hotel rooms of students of the opposite gender

  17. Conference Itinerary – 02/22/2019 DECA Business Meeting (All Members) - 4:30 – 6:30 Entertainment-Limelight Band (Mandatory Event) – 7:00 – 10:00 Debrief and Overview of Next Day Events – 10:15- 10:45 Curfew and Room Checks – 11:00

Entertainment • Texas DECA has booked the band Limelight to perform as our evening entertainment on Friday, February 22nd, from 8:00 pm – 10:30 pm in the Lone Star Ballroom. • Dress attire should follow school dress code. No strapless, backless or spaghetti-straps. Jeans are appropriate. • All attendees must wear their conference ID badge as admission to this and all conference activities. • Only clear bags will be allowed into this event.

  20. Discipline Information Students may be sent home at the families expense in the event there are discipline infractions. Use of tobacco products of any kind include VAPE Oil and VAPE Pens, also referred to as "juling" is prohibited.  Please search your student's luggage and belongings ahead of time.  These can look like USB drives, small cameras, soda cans, regular pens, etc.
