Facts Their health is poor If we build the school they wont only get an education but they will get a meal every day There houses are made of wood branches, cow dung, and polythene papers Their health is very poor because they depend on milk, blood, and meat for their nutrition The meat is sometimes eaten raw or undercooked Their water supply is given them terrible diseases

  3. Education Getting to school is hassle, they have to walk 8km to get to school(that’s about 5 miles!) Most children are not going to school until they are 10 or 11 if at all They are put in classes with much younger students Many are sent home from school for lack of books or uniforms A Masai girl must complete her chores before attending school Few reach 8th grade and even fewer attend school If they do reach high school they have poor teaching and low quality facilities

Ed Colina He built a preschool that was once supported by the Ed Colina foundation and they are now independent he has been involved in education for 26 years In February of 2008, Ed began his solo projects to aide poor Masai women and children living in Athi River, Kenya.  Supported by friends and relatives, former colleagues and school families, he took up residence adjacent to the Masai settlement and continues to live and oversee those projects today.

  5. Students/Schools The school on the left is what they are using now, on the right is the one we are going to make for them! If you donate money they will be able to make this school for them, please donate!

  6. Why to donate They would get a meal every day They will get a better education They will have a healthy environment for them to learn

  7. Please donate Please donate, these kids need you. If you donate these kids will be able to get a good education and a job some day! Also the kids will not have to walk 5 miles every day to get to school. You can make a difference in their lives, please do. Even the smallest donation will help. Thank you and I hope you donate.
