Activities 2009 • 1st Single window international Conference – Dakar (November 2008). • 13th UNCEFACT Forum Saly – (November 2008) • UNECA: Regional forum on Trade Facilitation (March 2009) Addis Abeba. • UNECA:General Assembly of the African Alliance for E commerce (March 2009) Addis Abeba. • 1st SC of the African Alliance for E Commerce Marrakech – April 2009 • UEMOA: Study to set a regional SW in west Africa region. (Dec 2008 to Feb 2009). <Bottom Line>

  3. Activities 2009 • South Africa: SADC high level conference on north south Corridor (May 2009). Lusaka. • ASEAL summit November 2008: 2 African countries attending as observer.- Taipei. • WCO IT Conference in Africa Marrakech April 2009 • GFPT meeting in Africa – Tunis November 2009 • Paperless Trade: Project started in Senegal and pilot project in discussion with Asia and Africa <Bottom Line>

  4. Way forward • Promote the African Alliance in/out Africa. • Promote pilot projects of data exchange among African countries • Encourage donors and specialized organizations involved in trade facilitation to consider the Alliance as a partner in Capacity building and SW implementation <Bottom Line>
