We work to continually achieve excellence in serving our internal and external customers. We are committed to a work environment that reflects our shared values of respect, freedom, trust, integrity, balance, and creativity. • Comprised of all Code 150 Supervisors • Meet monthly for 3 hours • Goal: develop and maintain a high degree of trust and respect among supervisors and eliminate barriers between accounting and resource organizations

Code 150 Diversity ActivitiesOngoingPeer Awards • An annual award program to recognize and reward exceptional members (civil servant and contractor) of the CFO community who best exemplify the following quality values: • Can do attitude - Respect • Creativity/Innovation - Teamwork • Customer service orientation - Leadership • Effective communication • Awards ceremony is held in conjunction with our CFO picnic

Code 150 Diversity ActivitiesOngoingRecruiting • Building relationships with University of Maryland, Towson University and Gallaudet for recruiting entry level accounting • Working to build relationships with University of Puerto Rico and Rochester Institute of Technology • Struggling to bring on board entry level accountants

Code 150 Diversity ActivitiesFuture ActivitiesPilot Leadership Development Program • CFO sponsored Pilot Leadership Development Program for the Financial and Resource Community • Duration: 9 months (starts in 11/01) • Class Size: 18 journey- or senior-level personnel (GS11-14) • Goal: Participants to develop competencies to become forward-looking leaders, capable of successfully helping our community define and create its future

Code 150 Diversity ActivitiesFuture ActivitiesPilot Leadership Development Program • Program utilizes the following: • Leadership workshops • Center Director’s Colloquia • Formal mentor-protégé relationship • Individual and group coaching • Individual Development Plan • Shadowing a mid- to senior-level manager for 1 week • Monthly meeting • Interviews with managers, special readings of articles/books • Prepare periodic self-assessment reports
