How to Earn the IB Diploma • Testing • Six different exams in six different subjects at both standard level and higher level • Creativity, Action, Service (CAS) • Perform a minimum of 150 hours of community service • Extended Essay • 4,000-word personal research paper • Theory of Knowledge (TOK) • The “flagship,” epistemology course of the Diploma Program

  3. Language A (English) • Demonstrate an ability to examine and discuss in depth the effects of literary techniques and the connections between style and meaning

  5. Individuals and Societies • Economics • Compare and contrast the market structures of monopoly and monopolistic competition. • World Religions • With reference to either Hinduism, Buddhism, or Sikhism, discuss the extent to which religious experience can be affected by being male or female.
