University recognition of the IB Diploma - by universities some of our students attend • The Ohio State University • OSU will grant individual course credit and/or advanced placement for higher level IB work with scores of 4 or better. • Miami University - Ohio • Chemistry (score of 5 or better) = up to 10 credit hours • English (score of 6 or 7) = up to 6 credit hours • History (score of 5 or better) = up to 3 credit hours • Ohio University • OU will grant individual course credit and/or advanced placement for higher level IB work with scores of 5 or better. • Columbia University • Columbia accepts International Baccalaureate (IB) HL scores of 6 or 7 for transfer credit up to a maximum of 16 credits.
