Welcome to Back to School Night Mrs. Fahres RoomG6 Second Grade
Introduction I am very excited to be teaching second grade again this year! It is my favorite grade to teach. This is my tenth year of teaching in the Etiwanda School District and my eighth year here at Terra Vista. I have lived in the Rancho Cucamonga area my entire life and I am happy to be teaching in the area I grew up in. I have been married to my husband Ryan for 9 years now. We are both teachers. I have a wonderful eight year old son named Corey and a spunky toddler named Dylan. When I’m not at school, I enjoy scrapbooking, playing the piano, and spending time with my friends and family.

Accelerated Reader Cont. • Students will now have access to countless books on the new system, not just books in our school and classroom libraries. To see if a book is an A.R. book go to www.arbookfind.com • Parents will be notified of their child’s A.R. progress through the Home Connect Feature where parents can view their child’s A.R. reports online • To access go to www.etiwanda.org/library and click on Renaissance Place Home Connect to enter your user name and password (see handout) • Each time your child takes an A.R. test you will be emailed their score and you can see their average quiz percentage and see how close/behind they are in obtaining their goals
