Travel Arrangements Friday 27th June - Arrive at Edinburgh Waverley 6.00am Train departs 6.25am arrives in London 10.51am Follow London Itinerary (to follow) Sunday 29th June – Arrive at St Pancras International Station 6pm Train departs 7.01pm and arrives at Paris Gare du Nord Station 10.17pm local time. Follow Paris Itinerary (to follow) Thursday 3rd July – Arrive at Paris Gare du Nord Station 2.13pm Train departs 3.13pm and arrives at St Pancras International Station 4.39pm – group transfer to Kings Cross Station arriving at 6.40pm. Train departs Kings Cross at 7pm and arrives in Edinburgh Waverley 11.30pm.
  3. Houses of Parliament(Commons & Lords) Our first visit will be on Friday 27th June to the Houses of Parliament, where we will visit both the Houses of Commons and Lords. This visit was arranged by Counsellor Fiona O’Donnell Day 2 Saturday 28th June Visit to Harry Potter Studios – Tour at 11.30am Followed by Evening performance at the Globe Theatre, Covent Garden ‘Titus Andronicus’ (very bloody indeed!!!!)
  4. Day 3 – Last Day in London Today will include visits to:-Tate Modern and National Gallery, Harrods/Hamleys. Depart for Paris.
  5. Day 4 – Monday 30th June 2014 Arc du Triomphe & Champs-Élysées. Visit to the Arc de Triomphe at Place de l'Étoile at the top of the Champs-Élysées. A symbol of the French nation, it links old and new Paris, standing on the highest point of the line running from the Louvre to the Grande Arche de la Défense. The Avenue des Champs-Élyséesis a street in Paris, France. With its cinemas, cafés, luxury specialty shops and clipped horse-chestnut trees, the Champs-Élysées is arguably one of the world's most famous streets, and is one of the most expensive strips of real estate in the world. Visit to the Louvre The Louvre, originally a royal palace but now is one of the world's largest and most famous museum, situated in the heart of Paris. Some of the museum's most celebrated works of art include the Mona Lisa and the Venus of Milo. Evening Entertainment – Tour of Student Quarter and a potential Greek Plate Smashing meal.
  6. Day 5 Tuesday 1st July Visits to Museum D’Orsay, Notre-Dame Cathedral and Pompidou Centre. The Pompidou centre is situated at the heart of Paris in the Marais district, the Pompidou Centre reveals its unique, timeless and modern architecture, offering its visitors the most beautiful view over the capital. Trip on a Seine Cruise Eiffle Tower visit (provided at an extra cost)
  7. Wednesday 2nd July Full day – Disneyland Paris Dual Park Pass for Walt Disney Studios & Disney Park
  8.   9. Final day – Thursday 3rd July Visit Picasso Musem The Musée Picasso is situated in the heart of historic Paris, and has a collection of several thousand works of Pablo Picasso. Picasso was born in 1881 and he began to study art in 1895. During his life he created diverse works: painting, sculpture, drawing, ceramics, engraving, and even poetry. After his death in 1973, many of Picasso's works went to the French state, which decided to form a museum with the collection. 2.13pm Arrive Paris Gare du Nord. Depart for St Pancras International 3.13pm 4.39pm arrive at St Pancras International (local time) group will transfer to Kings Cross. 6.40pm arrive London Kings Cross. Depart for Edinburgh Waverley at 7pm. 11.30pm Arrive Edinburgh Waverley Goodbye, Au revoir, See Ya!!
