Latest Update – on April 25 As an active response to the this event, on April 23, the Shanghai Municipal Transport and Port Authority said in a statement on its website that they are considering a few new measures to cancel certain fees such as fuel surcharge, while lowering other fees for the container transport sector, with the aim at "easing rising inflation and cost pressures on transport companies“. http://www.jt.sh.cn/infopub/tzgg/info_110423035616.html Over the past three days, all ports in Shanghai were operating normally andHP business is reported to be back to normal by HP LSPs today. Impact to Domestic The overall situation is comparatively normal. But one of HP three LSPs, Sunjet, reported that 50% of its existing truck resource delivering to eastern China are impacted. But till now they have already managed to work out a BCP to ensure the impact is at a controllable level. Impact to International Ocean: Both inbound & outbound is getting better. No backlog reported today by HP LSPs. Air: There is no impact reported by HP LSPs
