Our Goals 2012-2013 • New Club Building – 3 new Clubs Kiwanis Club of Mutiara Pulau Pinang Kiwanis Club of Langkap (Sept) (KCCJ) Kiwanis Club of One-Perak ( Sept) (KCTI) • To date only 1 club has been formed – The Kiwanis Club of Mutiara Pulau Pinang, which has been added into Division 9
Our Goals 2012-2013 • Kiwanis International Foundation • To donate USD6 per member towards KIF • To date 28 clubs have paid towards KIF • Eliminate/MNT Global Project • To date Pledges total USD714,000 Payment to KIF USD 287000
Lead Donors • Tan Sri Tee Hock Seng of Bina Puri Holdings donated RM100,000 • Tan Sri Dato Seri Vincent Tan of Berjaya Cares Foundation donated RM320,000
Service Leadership Program • To encourage clubs’ participation in SLP 1st SLP Convention on 27thApril 2013 • Total – 40 Youth Clubs • 11 – K-Kids Clubs • 2 – Builders Clubs • 14 – Key Clubs – + 2 new Key clubs • 7 – Circle K Clubs • 4 – Aktion Clubs –
Service Leadership Program 3 SLP Camps: • Kiwanis Club of Bandaraya Ipoh sponsored 28 youths in the Camp Gen Y at Tapah in Nov 2012; • Kiwanis Club of Teluk Intan sponsored 45 youths: the Aktion Club of Bethany Home; Circle Kyers of Help University; Key Clubbers of Sri Garden Int School and San Min Suwa in the Handicamp at Lumut Outward Bound School in Nov 2012; and • Kiwanis Club of Kuala Lumpur had its 15th Kiwanis Youth Camp of 65 Key Clubbers at Benum Hill Resort, Pahang in Dec 12

YCPO • To encourage Clubs to have YCPO projects at District Level: • 100 kindergarten children were sponsored to a day trip to Petronas Science Centre – Nov 2012 • Participants Sponsored by ECCE Council : • Twinkle Star Kindergarten of KC Cheras and • KDSF - Klang Centre
YCPO Sunway Lagoon - 850 children sponsored to “Beauty and the Beast” Stage show at the Amphitheatre in Sunway Lagoon – 31st Dec 12 448 children sponsored to Sunway Lagoon Themepark Party – 19th Jan 2013 17 clubs participated + Donation of RM500 from a well-wisher

YCPO At Club Level: • Most clubs hold parties for children during the festivities of Malaysia: • Deepavali; Christmas; Chinese New Year; Hari Raya; Mid Autumn Festival etc.
Training & Education Compulsory for LGs & Presidents & Secretaries to attend Training and Education organized by District 2013-2014 LG Education – 1st-2nd June 2013 2013-2014 Presidents & Secretaries – July 13 undertaken by Governor Elect- Simpson Tan
Kiwanis Milestones Education Fund – From the allocation of RM54,000 of the balance of the Energizer donation, this fund will be used solely as a matching grant for clubs on education. With CSR we hope have donations from Corporates and the Public.

Kiwanis Milestones • Emergency Relief Fund • This Fund has been set up for quick response to Emergency Relief in cash or kind to be dispatched to affected regions • Surplus of RM43,000 parked in the Emergency Fund & Gov Elect Simpson Tan – appointed Chair • The BOT proposes a yearly amount of RM365.00 per club towards this fund; to build up the Relief Fund for further usage. • If there is a specific cause, clubs can send in an additional amount on top of the yearly amount.
Kiwanis Milestones • Kiwanis Malaysia donated USD 3,000 to the Kiwanis South Philippines Emergency of Typhoon Pablo for refurbishment school furniture of the affected schools.
Lahad Datu • Div 7 had undertaken the Lahad Datu Project • Help was given to 3 kampungs
KIWANIS MILESTONES • 23 Permanent Centres which focus on the needs of children through Education • 9 Down Syndrome Centres that provide EIP for DS children below 6 years of age; • 4 Centres for children with Learning Disabilities; • 3 Job Training Centres; • 5 Day Care Centres; • 1 Kindergarten and • 1 Neuro Rehabilitation Centre
Kiwanis Keynotes Top Priority on Clubs’ performance on membership and retention; Revival of non active clubs through seed members’ participation; Strong focus on SLP in all clubs
