  4. Keeping you informed about progress is important to us • One Progress Review is sent home each half term & a full report in the summer • Timetables sent home with Student Contract • Parents Information Evening in September • Parents Higher Education Information & Support Evening in July

  5. Attendance Matters • 95% for all subjects • Missing lessons will be followed up by phone calls, letters, meetings • No Family holiday in term time • Absences must be reported Excellent Attendance = Outstanding Results

  6. Making Informed Choices • What do you enjoy? • What do you need? For Medicine you need very good passes in GCSE Maths, English & Science. Chemistry & Biology A’ level If in doubt facilitating subjects will support in with University Applications (Maths, Biology, Chemistry English, History) Speak to our visiting Universities in the SIXTH FORM SOCIAL ROOM and ask them Tonight!

  7. Entry Requirements • 5 GCSE grades A*-C • Many Subjects require a B Grade or have conditions IE: Maths, Physics Biology, Psychology, English • If you do not pass English or Maths you will complete these in Sixth Form • On Results day we will be there on hand if things don’t go to plan
