BIOSIS Previews • Published by BIOSIS • Includes references and abstracts of journal articles, conferences, reviews, technical letters, software and books. • Coverage: Biological and biomedical research – including biology, biochemistry, bioengineering, biophysics, biotechnology, botany, medicine, zoology, agriculture, veterinary science, environmental studies, and microbiology. • 6,500 + journals worldwide • Availability: 1926- (archive 1926-1968) • Updated monthly

Zoological Record • Published by Thompson Scientific • Abstracts of journal articles, books, conferences and reviews. • Coverage: All aspects of zoology - including biochemistry, behaviour, ecology, physiology, taxonomy, evolution, morphology and nomenclature. Natural biology and systematic zoological literature are covered extensively. Applied biological sciences are treated more selectively. • 5000+ journals worldwide • Availability: 1864- (archive 1864 to 1977) • Updated monthly.
