What I have done so far Segmentation Algorithms Performance evaluation Parameter optimization • Literature review document • Basic system for testing methods and visualizing results. • Work with Dr. Djouadi • Literature review document • Software platform for analysis and comparison of methods • Collection of papers with summaries. • GUI for running segmentation methods, varying parameters, and displaying results

  6. Where to go from here • Use my literature review to identify gaps in these areas where contributions can be made. I already have some ideas. • Write and publish papers (collaboration) • Develop a preliminary dissertation topic What I think I need to do: I need help in figuring out how to move forward.
