Responsibilities of the Senior Research Officers (SROs), Senior Subject specialists (SSS) and Subject specialists (SS) Initiate research proposals Prepare action plans for research work Organize research activities Review curriculum and text books Identify the errors and gaps in the curriculum and textbooks. Prepare pre-service and in-service training material Train the teachers in the areas where needed Comments, views, opinions on the draft proposals of curriculum and textbooks Submit proposals for staff development Supervise and conduct training activities. Initiate the Annual Confidential Reports of the sub-ordinate staff.

SENIOR SUBJECT SPECIALIST & SUBJECT SPECIALIST • Assist Senior Research Officers in their work. • Develop training manuals/Modules according to scheme of study developed by SROs. • Implement the training as Facilitator / Lead Master Trainer. • Facilitate/On job sport to Master Trainers • Manage Departmental Examination as Paper setter, Head-Examiner . • Monitoring/Evaluation of Long Term, Short Term Lesson planning practice.
