ASYCUDA WORLD - TIR EPD - RTS operational • The TIR Carnet holder sends an EPD to the Customs office of entry/departure • If the electronic data is processed correctly by the Customs system, a “green light” is sent to the TIR holder • The holder presents the TIR Carnet at the Customs and the information contained in the TIR Carnet is compared with the Electronic data • The TIR transport is released for transit • The holder presents the TIR carnet at the Customs office of Exit/Destination • At the Customs office of destination, the SafeTIR information is created and sent • The Association can check the SafeTIR information in AskTIR (c) International Road Transport Union (IRU) 2012
