  2. What Are The Millennium Goals? – In Nigeria. Millennium goals were created in 2000 by world leaders. Their aim is to reduce world poverty by 2015. All goals at first were achievable , but fell short by missing out vital points. They are the eight goals pictured on the previous page , all wanting to eradicate world hunger, poverty and diseases in different ways.

  4. Like the millennium development goals, the ESSPIM aim to eradicate poverty but focus mainly on Nigeria. They work on HIV, Teenage Pregnancy and Sexual Transmitted diseases. As well as this they work in schools to provide the pupils with an education , that they believe , they deserve. From the work of ESSPIN , schools have been improving drastically, with new classrooms, resources and equipment being available. Not only has school life differed but the amount of babies dying at birth and children dying , has reduced considerably, something which was a huge problem in Nigeria in the past. Although Nigeria is aware that most goals will not be reached by 2015, they are well working towards them , and are pleased to say , blessed with sanitation, clean water, and hygienic conditions.   6. Transport systems have been improved too! More people feeler safer travelling and roads are becoming clearer and less polluted.
