    1. A Really Bad OWIE Day. by: Miranda

    2. "Dad"! I yelled. " When can we go to Achievement Days"? "As soon as I pickup Rachel from school”, he said. But unfortunately I did not understand that. He got in the van and started to drive to the school.

    3. I thought "What is he doing"? Even though I didn't know where he was going I got on my bike and followed him.

    4. When I got to the busy road I figured it out.

    5. Then my dad drove by. I thought "UH OH! I am in big trouble." He rolled down his window. "Why did you follow me?" He asked. "I thought you were showing me the way to Achievement Days," I replied. "Well you thought wrong. Now get on your bike and ride home" Dad said.

    6. When I got home my leg hurt. I pulled up my pants, and I had this small owie and a big owie. My big sister Rachel saw, "OUCH!" she said. "Someone had a bike crash." "I did not! I hit the curb on accident," I told her. "And yes, Ouch is right."

    8. At my Achievement Days activity, we were picking up pine cones. "Ouch!" I said as I picked up a pine cone. "I pricked my finger and now it is bleeding! Can I go home?" I asked. "No, you cannot, because we are almost done," my leader told me. We had a snack and then I rode home.

    9. At home, I asked "Mommy, when are we going to have dinner? "Soon," she said.......

    10. Time to go to bed. I brushed my teeth and I was half-way down the stairs when…

    11. TRIP! Stumble! Kerplunk!

    12. I started to cry. Dad came down. "I heard a loud Bang!" Rachel asked, "Did you fall down the stairs?" "Yes," I said in my whiny voice.

    13. "Well, where does it hurt?" Dad asked. "My head." "Well, some sleep will help it feel better," he said.

    14. So I got up off the floor and went to bed.

    15. Three hours later, I fell off the bed, and started to cry.
