Ranger’s ApprenticeJohn Flanagan2005realistic fiction Garrett Coneley 6th
Setting The setting is in a old kingdom. In the 17 hundreds. It is important to add meaning to the story. So the reader understands why it takes place in a old kingdom. The book would be different by it could be in the kingdom of the attackers and no why there attacked them.
Conflict Unknown knights are attacking the kingdom. Man vs man
Summary of Plot Will is a small guy that gets selected to be a knights apprentice. And goes thought all this training. And unknown knights start attacking the kingdom.
Theme The them is medieval Page 14 they get horses They have knights page 5 They have kingdoms page 19
Point of View The point of view is first person. It helps the reader understand how much of a hard time will is going thought. If it was the point of view of a attacker how would he feel
Symbolism The fig tree represents strength for will. When he got bullied he ran in it
Recommendation I liked the book. But I might just like it because I like realistic fiction and stuff of that nature. If you don’t like realistic fiction this isn't the book for you.
