Determine the style of the play. The style can be divided into:

The scenery looks like a real room and the actors respond in a way that the audience recognizes as life-like.
Non-realistic non-realistic plays contain characters, events, and scenery that are exaggerated to the extent that they depart from real life.

The audience enjoys the hero’s antics and minor catastrophes, knowing in the end, the hero will solve his/her problem successfully.
serious drama is a term applied to those plays that treat their subject seriously and yet do not fall into the tragic division.
melodrama its purpose is to arouse great suspense, excitement, and thrills to the audience..
Emphasis is on action and chance rather than on character or social problems

You should explain in your analysis who is the protagonist and antagonist even if your character is not one of them
