  14. CLOSING COMMENTS AND NEXT STEPS • Thoughts right now? Need for additional webinars? (We will do survey monkey evaluation.) • What is the best way to get support and assistance in your institutions? Multidisciplinary efforts between leaders, ID, Quality, and other departments – ensuring compliance/patient safety is a collaborative effort. Also use networking resources provided by local APIC chapter. • Don’t forget: we have been asking for visibility, recognition, andsupport for the past 30+ years. This is just a starting point. We need to also be actively involved in evolving legislation.
