  1. Rube Goldberg EF 151

  2. Jimmy Bouchard • Freshman in Nuclear Engineering • Tim Horton • Sophomore in Civil Engineering • Chris Sorrels • Senior in Nuclear Engineering • Mathew Stinnett • Freshman in Electrical Engineering Team Members

  3. Conservation of Energy • Translational • Potential, Kinetic, & Elastic • Projectile Motion • Conservation of Angular Momentum • Conservation of Linear Momentum • Collision Device Summary

  4. Potential Elastic Energy is released to shoot (Projectile Motion) the ball into a funnel . • Angular Momentum is conserved with the ball swirling through the funnel speeding up as the radius gets smaller. • Kinetic Energy is turned into Potential Energy after the ball comes out of the tube. • Linear Momentum is conserved with a collision of the two balls. Operations

  5. Time Conflicts of Members • Source of Supplies • Working with Unreliable Springs • Procrastination Construction Issues

  6. How to work together as a team and achieve one goal. • Applying what we have learned in EF 151. • Conservation of Energy & Momentum • Projectile Motion & Rotational Motion What was learned?
