  3. Question #1 Can you briefly: • Introduce yourself? • Describe your national/organizational context in relation to the issues and opportunities raised by the initiative?

  4. Question #2 • “Based on the initial experience of the e-Learning Portal and building on the strong involvement of stakeholders, the Commission will launch, with Erasmus+ funding, a single gateway for OERs produced in Europe, federating existing platforms with advanced browsing and search features to help users find the appropriate content” • Do the panel think a single gateway of OERs produced in Europe is necessary or feasible?

  5. Question #3 • “textbook authors, publishers and booksellers can contribute to joint collaborative efforts to find new innovative technical solutions ensuring that high-quality resources are available to all.” • What would the panel like to see publishers doing in response to the OUE initiative?

  6. Question #4 • “Standards should also ensure that resources could be used across different platforms thus enhancing their effectiveness” • What should we aim to do now about standards? (for example given the different, closed ecosystems for mobile apps?)

  7. Question #5 • “to develop quality frameworks for OER and mapping with curricula.” • This seems like a possible opportunity to propose a curriculum mapping project. What should we aim to do in such a project or how should it be structured?

  8. Question #6 • Are there any barriers that the panel foresees and if so what are some ways to overcome them?

  9. Question #7 • Can the panel shares any ideas for a broad response of MoEs and other stakeholders for potential projects?
