  3. Submit Your Requisition • Start here! http://www.osubookstore.com/Faculty.asp • Select “Faculty Requisitions”

  4. Select Your Department • Choose your department from the drop-down menu

  5. Term and Submitted By • Select the “Term” • Fill out “Submitted By” fields • An order confirmation will be sent to the email you enter.

  6. Class Information • Enter the course number (i.e. “110” in our ANTH example) • Do not enter the CRN (the Bookstore doesn’t use CRNs). • The department was selected in the first field, so it’s not needed here again. • Enter the section number, instructor, and estimated enrollment • This information can be obtained from the Schedule of Classes.

  7. Course Materials • Are class notes required/optional? If so, check the box. • Or “No Course Materials Required”? If so, check the box. • Comments field… write us a note! • i.e. List cross-listings and notations about total enrollment, include multiple sections or graduate-level courses that share the same items, indicate if certain components of a bundle are not required or if old editions are okay to provide, etc.

  8. Course Materials • Using the same materials? Copy from a previous term! • Please review the book information to ensure it’s correct. • Not using the same materials? Type in the book information! • ISBNs, Author, and Title are required (we want to order the right book for you!) • Select “Required or Optional” • Don’t forget to check the submit box to the left of each item.

  9. Finally… Submit! • Double check… is the submit box for each item checked? • Have you included any class notes, course packets, videos, etc. that are to be sold at the OSU Bookstore? • Submit!

  10. Confirming Your Order • Review the emailed order confirmation… you see what we see! • Once processed, it will appear in “View Current Textbook List.”

  11. Notes of Interest • Submit a complete and correct order • Changes in a textbook order could be costly, especially for ecampus students. • Take a few extra days if you need it! • Don’t forget to contact Printing and Mailing to initiate the printing process for class notes • And follow up a few weeks before term start! • Ideally, materials are in the store 3-4 weeks before term starts… we start filling text orders for students!
