COURSE INFORMATION • Web Site – https://www.elearning.ubc.ca • Used for: extra resources, computer simulations, user groups, self-help tests, check marks, etc. • First tutorial provides introduction to site • Required Materials • Text: Voyages to the Planets: third edition by Fraknoi, Morrison & Wolff • Grades • Final exam: 45% (regular exam period) • Midterm: 25% (Dates January 30, February 6) • I expect that all exams will be multiple choice • Four assignments: 20% • Attendance at tutorials: up to 10%, 2% for each one
