Principles (I) • Definition • The IAQG Other Party Scheme is a Global Industry-Controlled schemefor the use of assessment results performed by CRB’s, based on the 9100-series standards • Purpose • To improve the quality level and control throughout the whole supply chain CRB – Certification Registration Body

Principles (II) • Other Party Scheme is based on: • The use of identical or equivalent international, sectorial and national standards based on 9104 • An industry oversight system at international, sectorial and national levels to ensure that scheme’s requirements are fulfilled • Auditors authenticated against identical requirements • All information related to the scheme is collected in the OASIS database(Online Aerospace Supplier Information System)

Sector Report • Europe • Adoption of 9104 as unique standard for all National schemes will effective on September 1st • Creation of a pool of assessors is on going (training completed in June) • Americas • Surveillance process has identified 5 Top Opportunities for Improvement • New standard for Auditor Training and Qualification and revision to AIR5359 (AS9104 with Americas Specific Requirements) is on going • Asian Pacific • lSJAC 9104 will be published by the end of July, 2005 • Chinese and Korean schemes creation are on going

  10. 2004 Oversight Activities 14 AAQG companies:Boeing, Parker, Honeywell, Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, Bombardier, Rolls Royce, Northrop Grumman, Cessna/Textron, GE Aircraft Engines, Pratt Whitney/UTC, Embraer, Vought & Goodrich 15 EAQG + 4 companies:Airbus, Rolls-Royce, Alenia, EADS CASA, Snecma, Eurocopter, Thales, EADS Military, Fokker, Westland, Messier-Dowty, BAE, SAAB, Volvo and Zodiac (+ Aermacchi, Augusta, Claverham and Praxair) 5 APAQG companies: FHI, MHI,IHI,SMIC and KHI

European Sector Oversight Activity • Assessment was performed by members of the AAQG-RMC and the APAQG-RMC • Assessment was performed for the following areas: • UK CBMC - CBMC Oversight Reports • France CBMC - Office and Witness Audit of CB • Spain CBMC - Auditor Application • Germany CBMC - Oversight Reports, OASIS Validation • Italy (CBMC - Auditor Authentication/Application • EAQG-OPMT - Meeting Minutes, Documentation • Results • Review validated that EAQG-OPMT is operating in compliance with 9104 (no findings) • 2 Opportunities for improvement identified (OASIS related)

IAQG OT Sub-teams report • Documentation • On going: Policy definition for certificates configuration and control • Decision: 9104 next version: draft April 06 and publication Oct 06 • Auditor Authentication and Training • Assessors qualification requirements defined • 9101 and 9104 training approved • On going: 91YZ(global standard): draft Oct 05 and publication Dec 05 • Surveillance • On going: 91WX (global standard): draft July 05 and publication Jan 06 OASIS • New functionality: “Change Summary Search of Public Data” will be available to all OASIS users (not only IAQG members) • Statistics from OASIS start to provide valuable information for identifying: • Finding distribution (major / minor and 9100 charters) • CRB’s specificities (few / a lot major & minor)

IAQG OT key decisions • Integration of all national and sectorial standards (24) in 3 global standards (9104, 91YZ & 91WX) by January 2007 • Uploading of new or changed certificates, becomemandatoryfrom July 1, 2005 • Registered companies are required to grant access to private data to their customers (huge time saving for all) • Confidentiality and Conflict of interest rules adopted

Overall status • Achievements so far • Basic scheme requirements established • Operation and communication at global level achieved • OASIS become referential for QMS aerospace industry data, new functionalities drive huge time savings and entries continuously increase • Targeted challenges • Complete and enhance scheme requirements • Operate worldwide with a unique set of standards (3) • Change audit focus • Gain full engagement and commitment of aerospace industry in management and oversight activities (including regulatories) • Implementation of global KPI’s
