Aims • Research: provide an outward facing platform for fundamental and innovative research in the area of large scale data science. • Education: develop new use-inspired, multidisciplinary courses based on an infrastructure in which students can experiment with realistic large scale datasets. • Valorization: create a channel through which fundamental data science research is connected to third party applications and vice versa. • Human Capital: provide data science talent to a variety of domains and companies.
