Dr. Byron A Brown The Visual Arts In addition to being a highly trained medical doctor who specializes in the field of obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Byron A Brown has received formal training in the arts, minoring in the subject during his undergraduate studies. He enjoys spending his time away from work painting and drawing, allowing his creative juices to flow and putting his considerable talents to work.

  2. Dr. Byron A Brown Decision To Pursue Medicine Dr. Byron A Brown entered his undergraduate studies at Winthrop University without having a clear idea of what he wanted to do with his life. However, he soon discovered that he had an aptitude for the medical sciences and made the decision to become a doctor. After leaving Winthrop, he worked as a surgical assistant with a general surgeon for a year before he started medical school. He took the lessons he learned during this period of his life into every role he has held since. He made the decision to complete a number of university-level courses while he was still in high school.

Dr. Byron A Brown First Child Dr. Byron A Brown experienced many things during the course of his residency at The Medical Center of Central Georgia, but meeting his wife and having his first child during the fourth year as a resident counts amongst the best. Brown is a family man at heart and was delighted to share this special moment with his wife while helping to build the foundation of their life together.

  4. Dr. Byron A Brown Teaching Physician After he made the decision to close his private practice in 2011, Dr. Byron A Brown took a position as a staff physician at a teaching hospital. This role not only allows him to continue working with patients and providing the high standard of care that people have come to expect from him, but also allows him to provide the benefit of his experience to younger colleagues. Dr. Byron A Brown is interested in offering research in the field of obstetrics and gynecology that will help his peers. He co-authored a paper that was published in the Georgia Journal of Medicine in the year 2000.
