  4. What can be copywritten? • Articles • Websites • Public Relations • Brochures • Newsletters • Social Media • Direct Mail • Commercials – TV and Radio

  5. Websites • A company’s information hub. • The Internet is print, TV and radio all rolled into one – with a few other elements. • More content helps page rankings.

  6. Public Relations • Gain exposure through traditional media – newspapers, magazines, websites, broadcast. • Advertisement = direct request to buy. • Media Coverage = info from trustworthy source.

  7. Press Releases • Similar to articles – editors and news directors use them for stories. • Sometimes they run word-for-word. • Process • Writing • Distributing • Following up • Collection

  8. Whyitt must be do good • Poorly written copy is obvious. • Poorly written copy fails to convey your message and inspire confidence. • Keep it simple.
