  2. Summary: The Interrupters was a documentary that showed a group of violence preventers and the struggles they faced in inner city Chicago.

  3. Cinematography This documentary used scenes which depicted harsh conflict and areas within the city with visual remnants of such happenings. For example all of the memorials that were in the city and the areas of death for individuals.

  4. Biased? • I believe the film was not biased because it not only showed the side of the people committing crimes and why the crimes take place, but the sides of people who understood this was wrong and what it took to stop the violence in the area

  5. How can violence between young people be prevented in our communities? Violence can be prevented by being active in our children’s lives and setting good examples. This along with teaching effective problem solving skills and teaching our children to talk about their issues can greatly reduce the threat of violence.
