  1. ImmTrac Enhanced Technical Assistance Project (ETAP) • ETAP is a CDC-funded service available to grantees that are replacing or upgrading their registry. • The ETAP contractor, the Public Health Informatics Institute (PHII), will assist ImmTrac by: • Facilitating/participating in stakeholder events • Assessing available off-the-shelf systems for suitability for ImmTrac’s needs • Producing a system requirements document to be used as the basis for procuring a new registry platform.

  2. ImmTrac Enhanced Technical Assistance Project (ETAP) • Initial kick-off event held in April. Members of TMA, TPS, TIP were in attendance along with DSHS staff and representatives from the Tarrant Co. and San Antonio registries. • PHII is scheduling demonstrations of available registry applications for ImmTrac staff.

  3. ImmTrac Enhanced Technical Assistance Project (ETAP) • We are currently working with PHII and the Immunization Partnership to design survey tool for providers. We will also be directly engaging stakeholders at several events around Texas. The first event will be May 21 in Houston. • Currently pursuing funding opportunities to purchase new registry software.

  4. ImmTrac Change Control Board (CCB) • The ImmTrac CCB was established in early 2010 • The purpose of the CCB is to evaluate ImmTrac service requests (including enhancements and modifications), and establish priority for release scheduling. • February 2010 – over 170 pending service requests. • May 2010 – approximately 70 pending service requests.

  5. ImmTrac Change Control Board (CCB) • Production releases scheduled every three months, on the last weekend of the month. First release scheduled for June 2010. • Release schedule will allow for better resource planning, communication regarding system enhancements, etc. • Some maintenance items will continue to be released off-cycle.

  6. STC Shot Scheduler • Initial product testing conducted in April, May 2010. • SPECIAL THANKS to Maribeth Bartz for coordinating testing • Over 100 scenarios were tested, and only a few minor issues were identified. • Shot Scheduler scheduled for implementation in Release #1, June 2010.
