  1. How the liver transplant is done Liver transplant is nothing but a surgical procedure to replace the diseased liver with a healthy liver which is donated by donors who have recently died. These donors will not have any injury on their organs. These donors are called cadaver donors. Yet another way of donating liver is to get a part of the liver from the living donor and replacing it on the patient whose liver is diseased. The liver will grow and become complete within two weeks for both the patient and the donors. These type of donors are called living donors.
