  3. FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS • What are rights? • Certain freedoms given to the people, to develop their potentials • Why some rights are called as Fundamental? • The basic rights given to the citizens and guaranteed by the constitution.

  4. Fundamental rights • Contain in part III of Indian constitution. • Called as the soul of our constitution. • Safe-guard the citizens against state exploitation. • Justifiable. • Having certain limitations.
