ILM Level 3 Award in Leadership Aim To give practicing or aspiring first line managers a solid foundation for their formal development as a leader Learning outcomes and objectives The Learner will; 1. Understand leadership styles • Differentiate between leadership and management understanding the need for both • Understand a range of leadership models including trait, behavioural, contingency, power and influence and transformational • Understand an explain how these styles have a positive effect on individual and group behaviour
