  7. Informed Decision Making Improvement Strategies: • Establish decision agenda calendar • Information and dialogue in advance of decisions • Clearly link to health implications • Evaluate opportunities to increase community input

  9. Strategic Planning & Policy Development Improvement Strategies: • Engage Board in strategic planning process • Link actions of the Board to the strategic plan • Clarify BOH policy role • Establish annual policy agenda • Increase staff support of policy role
