Ongoing Consultations Wireless Telegraphy Licence Exemption – Amending the Wireless Telegraphy (Exemption) Regulations 2003 • The consultation sets out proposals to legalise the use of low power FM transmitters which can be used to connect MP3 players and other personal audio devices wirelessly to radios and in-car entertainment systems. Ongoing Consultations Award of available spectrum : 10GHz, 28GHz, 32GHz and 40GHz • This consultation sets out in detail Ofcom’s proposals for the release of radio spectrum which could be used for a range of new broadband, wireless communications and broadcast services by both businesses and consumers.
