  2. Moya is 13-year-old teenager who lives on a small island called Tonga a middle of the Pacific Ocean. Tonga

  3. On Tonga, like everywhere else in the world, people have parties on their birthdays. Moya usually celebrates his birthday, which is in January, with his family and friends. This year he had a very unusual celebration. On Monday, Moya’s birthday, his mother prepared all his favorite food, including “otai”, a fruit salad with mango, papaya and guava. Moya’s favorite fruit salad = + +

  4. Moya’s friends arrived at his house at 8 o’clock and the party began. They all danced, ate and had a good time. Moya had fun too, but was thinking a lot about his friend, Bini. Moya’s best friend, Bini, couldn’t come to his birthday party because he and his family had moved to the neighboring island of Samoa. Samoa isn’t far but it’s not easy to travel from island to island. Moya really missed Bini and was sad about celebrating his birthday without him.

  5. After the party, Moya said “alua”, goodbye in Tongan, to his friends, and thanked his family for a wonderful birthday party. He was disappointed that his parents didn’t give him a birthday present. Perhaps they didn’t have enough money this year.

  6. Then Moya’s father asked him , ”Moya, do you want your birthday present?” “I sure do, dad!”Moya answered happily. Moya, do you want your birthday present? I sure do, dad!

  7. “Come with me, ”said his father. They left the house, got into the car, and Moya’s father drove towards the airport. “what’s going on, Dad?”Moya asked, “Where are we going so late at night?” “You are going to celebrate your birthday with your good friend, Bini”. Moya believe his ears. “How can I ? My birthday is over, and Bini lives in Samoa.” Moya’s father put a piece of a paper into his hand.

  8. “Its an air plane ticket to Samoa, son. Samoa is very close, only 30 minutes by plane, but it is on the order side of the international date line. All 30 minutes

  9. You are flying to Samoa, where it is 24 hours earlier that it is her in Tonga! So you have an extra day to celebrate your birthday with Bini. Happy Birthday Son1 THE FINISH!
