Announcements • Position Paper due today by 5pm! • Wednesday • No Seminar • There will be a BB practice test to take that day. • Attendance will be taken during large lecture • There will also be an assignment due by Friday. • Midterm Grades up this week! • Friday, March 29th, Exam III (Ch. 3, 6, 7, & Americans Governing) • Registration opens April 1-5th • April 12th is the Drop Date.
Registration • Sophomores (>30hrs) register April 4thand Freshmen register April 5th • Check Sail for any holds you may have. Do it this week!! • Also check Sail for your midterm grades! • Grade Issues: Probation, Repeating Courses, etc.
Final Studying for the Exam • Wednesday • There will be no Seminar. • There will be a Blackboard practice exam that will cover all three chapters. • You will need to get a least a 70 on it, in order to get participation credit.
Wednesday in Large Lecture • Try to bring a way to get online (laptop, tablet, smartphone). • You will be part of a focus group and respond to some discussion points about First Year Islander. • If you fully participate in the activity and take it seriously, you will receive 10 points toward your POLS grade. • Seminar attendance for the day, will also be taken during large lecture.
Second Assignment for the Week • Registration begins next week and you can find the available classes online at sail.tamucc.edu • You will need to visit one of the AVID mentors by Friday, 3pm to discuss a possible schedule for the Summer/Fall 2013. • Make sure to sign-in when you go.

Attacking Exam III • Chapter 3 will be discussed more today. • Lets begin by reviewing that chapter first. • Now for Ch. 6 & 7 • How A Bill Becomes A Law
