  2. Billy the kid Billy was born on the 17th of September 1859 and died on the 14th of July 1881 from a gunshot wound from Sherriff Pat Garret

  3. Sitting Bull Sitting Bull was born in 1831 and died on December 15th 1890.He was the leader of the Hunkpapa Lakota Sioux tribe

  4. Tom Ketchum Tom Ketchum was born on October 31st 1863 and died on April 26th 1901.His nickname was Black Jack

  5. Apache Indians The Apache tribe’s primary source of food was buffalo, especially after the arrival of horses

  6. Cherokee Indians Cherokee means ‘’speakers of another language’’. Cherokee is pronounced CHAIR-UH-KEE

  7. Cheyenne Indians Cheyenne is pronounced SHY-ANN. Cheyenne call themselves Tsitsistas, "the people.".

  8. What was Indian clothing made out of? The Indians of the Plains made their clothes out of tanned animal hides. The best designs were made out of antelope or mountain sheep skins
