  3. Equipment Initiatives • Software License Server • Computer Replace program (300) • Lab Upgrades • Red Lab – 55 computers • Mac Lab A – 18 iMacs • AV Upgrades • Replace Old Projectors

Infrastructure/Security Initiatives • ISC/GAB technology • Utility Corridor/fiber optic cable • Email Improvement • Migrate 4000 F/S accounts to Office 365 • Currently about 2500 migrated • Replace network switches • VOIP • Improved speeds • Telephone/Call Center Upgrade • Identity Finder Site License • Mobile Device Management tools • Increase wireless access (200 Aps)

Instructional Initiatives • Virtual Computer Lab (VCL) • 6 Active Images • Office 2010 • Office 2010 + SPSS • Win 7 + SPSS • Visual Basic • Red Lab • Adaptive Computer Lab Resources • Classes that are using the VCL • PSY 270 – Laurel Wainwright (SPSS) • MSIS 301 – Daniel Shimshak (POM Access) • Modeler 15 – Xu Ping • MSIS 212 – Gordon Corzine (Crystal Ball virtual access) • MSIS 110 – Jonathan Frankel has used the MS Office image on occasion

Instructional Initiatives • Blackboard Learn 9 • Summer 2012 – 4 courses • Fall 2012 – 83 online + 123 web enhanced • Spring 2013 – about 160 online • By Fall 2013 we will have ALL courses migrated • Initiatives • eBooks – Pearson & McGraw-Hill • Blackboard Mobile App - $6 for life or $2 per year • Issues • Managing multiple systems • System Availability- multiple outages in Sept & Oct.
