IMMEDIATE FUTURE • Usa -se o Immediate Future ( futuro imediato) para: • Prever algo num futuro imediato ou próximo. A previsão baseia-se no que sabemos, vemos, ou sentimos no momento em que falamos; • exprimir uma intenção, um plano, ou uma decisão
Examples • They are going to talk to her. - previsão • I think it is going to rain. – previsão • I am going to buy a car next month - decisão/ plano • We are going to go to the cinema tomorrow - plano/decisão
Immediate Future’s Form • O immediate future ( futuro imediato)forma-se da seguinte maneira: • BE + GOING TO + Verbo principal • Nathy is going to get married next year • Obs:be = verbo auxiliar be no present tense (am, is e are)
Affirmative Forms • I am going to dance next weekend • You are going to see Spiderman movie tomorrow • He /she/ it is going to have a lunch at 12:00pm • We are going to buy news clothes • You are going to study to english test • They are going to travel to Rio de Janeiro • Obs: As formas contraídas na afirmativa são:I'm / you're / he's / she's / it's / we're / they're going to
Negative Form • I am not going to work next week • you are not going to work next week • He / she / it is not going to go out tonight • We are not going to travel to China • They are not going to have class next week • Obs: As outras formas contraídas na negativa são:I'm / you're / he's / she's / it's / we're / they're not going to
Interrogative Form • Are you coming to the party tonight? • Is Bruna coming to the party tonight? • Are we coming to the party tonight? • Are Carlos and Marcelo coming to the party tonight?
