  13. Concentration My concentration stems from my gravitation to both the subconscious and the imaginary, two themes ever present in dreams. Ever since I was young, I had a vivid imagination, but only in my dreams could my imagination reach its full unrestrained potential. I also believe that dreams allow repressed parts of the mind to break free from the conscience, and can signify your deepest thoughts and desires. The enigmatic quality of dreams greatly attracted me to focus on them and choose them as my concentration. All the pieces in my concentration are representations of my dreams and fantasies. Ever since I was young, I had a vivid imagination, but only in my dreams could my imagination reach its full unrestrained potential. As an artist, I have found my dreams, as well as the dreams of others, to be an excellent source of creative inspiration and insight. I have also based many of my pieces of dreams, since I believe that dreams carry a liberated and unconstrained nature. Each of my pieces explores different elements of dreams; ‘Waterfall’ is a trance in which paradise is experienced, whereas ‘Trapped’ and ‘Scared” are more of nightmarish delusions . Each piece demonstrates different wishes, hopes, and ambitions, both conscience and subconscious, that one can experience during a dream state.
