Mid-South Chapter Goals • Provide education and networking through F2F and virtual venues • Host Monthly Chapter Meetings (10 meetings/yr) • Conduct one meeting/quarter outside of HSV • Conduct Monthly Officers Meeting • Government and Commercial focus • Grow Membership • 2013: From 18 to 36 • 2014: From 36 to 72 • 2015: From 72 to 144 • Grow Corporate Sponsorships • 2013: From 0 to 5 • 2014: From 5 to 10 • 2015: From 10 to 15 • Establish partnerships with Universities & Associations • e.g., UAH, FIT, Vanderbilt, PMI, NCA • Create, maintain, and grow a professional Chapter Website • Broaden awareness of APMP by issuing at least one Press Release per quarter

Bill’s Thoughts • Held 6th consecutive Chapter Meeting!!!!!! • Birmingham Marketing Campaign progress • More correspondence with members and potential members • Started Sponsorship 2 min slots @ Jan Mtg • Mid-South offers Free Job postings (must link to specific req) • Emphasis dial-in for meetings for non-HSV members • Lunch w/Harry Cleaver (UAH Prop/Contracts professor) w/o 1/27 • Spoke w/Barri Garrison (KBR) in Bham • Invited >30 Bham proposal professionals to visit web site • Two open Marketing Positions (Nashville & Birmingham)

Vice Chair – Joe • Resignation on one officer, Marketing (Publicity-Communications) Chair Nashville Region; Solicit nominations to fill vacancy in February • Emphasize duties to be completed • Sponsors – officers and general membership • Will begin requesting addl Sponsors • Chapter Awards Update – 3 confirmed submitted awards nomination to national APMP … any others?

Treasurer – Tonya Maurice • Developed and sent out first draft of budget • Created, published and monitoring online registration for Feb meeting. • Reconciled December bank statement. • Submitted quarterly/year end rebate report Next Steps : • Incorporate inputs and complete 2014 Budget. • Update online registration with March meeting details immediately following February meeting.

Webmaster – Jennifer Recent Website Additions: • Meeting and Speaker information updated • New Career information posted • Ken Merwin’s information added on both sites Needed: Facebook page link Website Statistics for Month of December – Interest is Continuing to Grow: • 107 Website Visits Over the Past Month – Up from 76 visits the previous month! • Of those visits, 66 were “unique” visitors (visitors that did not go back to the site later) which is also up from 61 last time!
