Question Formation • To ask a question that may be answered “sí” or “no”, just raise the pitch of your voice at the end of the question. The subject, if included, can go before or after the verb. • ¿Eres extrovertido? • ¿ La profesora es simpática? • ¿ Es simpática la profesora?
Answering Questions • You can answer a question like the previous with “sí” or “no”. You say the word no twice in your answer: once to mean no and another time to mean not. • ¿Eres activo? (Are you active?) • Sí, soy activo. (Yes, I’m active.) • No, no soy activo (No, I’m not active.)
Question Words • Cómo- what/how • Cuándo- when • Quién- who • Quiénes- Who (plural) • Qué- What • De dónde- from where • Cuál- which/what • Cuánto- how much/many
