  10. Science/Tech to Law Transition Tell us about your transition from science to law. What was the most challenging aspect of it and how did you overcome this? Most science majors come to law school not having done as much reading/writing in college as humanities majors. Was this a concern for you coming into law school? If so, how have you dealt with it? Science and technology change so quickly. How do you guys stay up with your technical knowledge in law school?
  11. Science/Tech to Law Transition
  12. Leveraging Science/Tech in Law School Obviously law school is a very different place from engineering school or a science department. In what ways are law school classes like science classes? Some say that engineers tend to do well in law school. Why do you think that is? In what ways has that been true for you? Given your background, what helped you prepare for exams? What advice would you suggest we ignore?
  13. More Study Advice Now that classes have been going on for a couple weeks, people have been able to see that there is a lot of material you have to handle as a law student (reading, class notes, hornbooks). As we get farther into the semester, what should people be focusing on? When did you start outlining? How do you outline? How did you learn to take law school exams? There isn’t a lot of feedback in law school. How do you know you are on the right track, both in terms of your understanding and your ability to take the exam?
